Partner Profiles


Patrick J. Bowler, C.P.A. - Pat earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from California State University - San Francisco. Pat's experience includes over 32 years in the accounting profession, including 23 years as a partner in the firm. As audit partner for Jenkins Bowler LLP's nonprofit organizations, Pat puts special emphasis on the internal control systems during certified audits. Pat is very well versed in tax compliance for nonprofits, including preparation of annual returns and calculating quarterly excise taxes.


Charles L. Kiu, C.P.A. - Charles earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from California State University - Northridge. Charles began his professional career with Jenkins Bowler LLP in 2000 and became a partner in 2008. He specializes in income tax planning and compliance for individuals, fiduciaries, closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations, with additional emphases in management consulting, accounting system setup, internal control system review, trustee service and California probate accounting and reporting. He currently serves as the President of the Chinese-American CPAs Society of Southern California and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Pasadena.


Kenneth J. Jenkins, C.P.A.- Ken earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University - Fullerton. Ken has retired as a partner from Jenkins Bowler LLP, where he had worked for 34 years, as of December 31, 2009. Ken brought a wealth of practical experience in the tax and accounting arenas. Ken specializes in providing tax advice to individuals, partnerships, corporations, fiduciaries; and he emphasizes planning in advance of the transaction in order to avoid unintended consequences. Ken is still actively engaged with Jenkins Bowler LLP on a "Of Counsel" basis. His extensive knowledge and experience is still invaluable to the firm.
